Trying to downgrade again...GIVE ME YOUR OPINION, please?

Ok here is my issue, and don't yell at me to use the search, I use it all the time I LOVE SEARCH!

My issue: My phone currently firmware 1.1.2 (3b48b) 01.02.13_G
When I purchased it I had 1.1.1 and I used jailbreakme.com to activate and jailbreak (it was great) I then upgraded t 1.1.2 because I was kind of over appsnapp and I figured a jailbreak would come out soon enough, as it did, but when I tried to perfrom the jailbreak I ran into some problems these are the steps I took

1) Through restore mode Downgrade to 1.1.1 (shift click, select 1.1.1.ispw)
2) Run appsnapp (windows 0.92)
3) my phone reboots with all icons and such
4) my service shows up as 4 underscores _ _ _ _

do I need to install oktoprep or whatever and then go back to 1.1.2? will I get service back if I do this? Its kind of annoying because once im at 1.1.1 everything works as it should except i don't get service, if I don't run the appsnap on the pc and try a itunes activation the phone just says waiting for activation, and I wiated liek ahalf hour, no luck, but if I upgrade to 1.1.2 and put my sim in and go to itunes, it says actiavtion successful liek instantly, so basically my plan is this let me know if you guys think this will work

1) downgrade to 1.1.1
2) run appsnapp for pc
3) run the installer and install ok to prep
4) upgrade to 1.1.2
5) put my sim in and hope for the best

what do you think? insite is greatly apprechiated!!

Unlocking the phone is not cruicial to me because I am on ATT ,I just want the jailbresk and I really just want appsnapp back for all the apps and themes and whatnot, I would even settle to still be on 1.1.1 , it kind of sucks, I was loving everything before the upgrade. Thanks

So all you need to do prep the iPhone when its on 1.1.1 then upate to 1.1.2 then re-activate the phone with ATT then run this jailbreak method it will install the installer.app for you and I would install SHH with it also its easy to do. Check the wiki page on how to do this link is in my signature.
