Unable to create desktop folders.

Hi.
I have a Blackberry 8800 through T-Mobile and I am unable to create desktop folders.
After receiving some advice I went ahead and updated to the newest available 8800 OS 4.2.1.179 / 4.2.1.108 and after doing so I am still unable to add folders to the 8800. I am trying so with the Zen themes but no such luck.
Am I missing something here?
