Can you get insurance on bb pearl?

I can for verizon but the rep at att said you could not get insurance on a blackberry pearl for att is that true?

Well you cannot get insurance through att which kind of sucks but there is Wireless Safeguard you can get which is cheaper then att's asurion *I hate that one because I have gotten a few bad phones from them*, however, for the bb phones the deductible is higher. I am still contemplating on getting the insurance because there is a few other new BlackBerry models and I might jump to one of them if they can add gps, wifi and 3G into a unit similar to the Curve...
