Im not asking about unlockability [is that even a word?
] but more of what are the latest unlocked J-phones? Models anyways.
I havent kept up after purchasing the 400$ paperweight known as the 705sh haha so I'm looking for somehting else.
I had a toshiba 903t but i sold that and now im using the near legendary se t637 [still works after 4 years of beating].
so yeah, any suggestions? seems like this part of hf is more active with regards to jphones anyway so i thought id ask here haha
ps: doesn't have to be sharp.

Latest-
904T(Toshiba again- this is pretty much the top of the line for unlocked Toshibas, I'd say)
903SH (pretty much the crown jewel of unlocked Japanese phones so far- at least until something usable/viable comes of the embryonic SIM-hack effort being tried on the 904SH)
Those are the "pure Japanese" phones. More recent unlocks involve pairing Japanese phones with unlockable firmware from a foreign version, such as this-
810/811/813T (Toshiba) with HK firmware
And more recently, people have just started dealing with it and unlocking the HK/TW versions of recent Japanese phones because of fundamental hardware differences.
SX663 (816SH)- This one is fairly decent as far as phones go.
SX633a(705SH)- You have this one; you can have the internals replaced with those from the HK version if you wish. I personally want a green one (but that was a limited edition so it'll be near-impossible to find).

do you know if the toshiba 910t can be unlocked?

No, 910T is not unlocked yet, just the 911T which can not be used in America. And look at eBay if you want one.
