Is there a way to save your contact's phone # on the sim card

instead of directly on the phone? I can't seem to find this option when storing contacts.

Nope. (A work around though is if you have a second phone, say a Nokia, which you also sync with your PC. You would enter everything in Outlook/Contacts, sync with iPhone, sync with 2nd phone, store them to SIM on the second phone. Not smooth but gets the numbers there.)

Ah, thanks for the help.

Another question that's been asked and answered at least a hundred times.

You can't find the option because it doesn't exist.

HOWEVER, there is an app on Installer called SimPort. All it does is copy from the SIM to the iPhone, but the next version might do the reverse as well.

Reported for pointless flaming. The first paragraph was totally unnecessary and projected a negative vibe for this thread. Be more respectful. If you don't want to answer a question, just don't.

Oh no! PLEASE DON'T REPORT ME!

Bugger off. (and those aren't thumbs, loser.)

The SimPort app exists, but it isn't in the default sources on Installer. A simple search will find the app anyway.

I doubt we have a certain iPhone app that does Phone--->SIM yet, but with SimPort available it looks possible to make one.

To Bremen's defense, he did post something useful.

The iPhone (on its own) doesn't show you user-created SIM info. If nothing shows up even with SimPort, that doesn't mean there isn't info on the SIM (SimPort isn't perfect).

I'd suggest the following:
1) Put the SIM in your Dash (assuming you have it still)
2) Moving your info from your SIM (if there is any showing up according to the Dash) to the Dash's memory
3) Syncing said Dash using ActiveSync/WMDC
4) Syncing resulting Outlook data to your iPhone.
I did this with my Blackjack, plus you should be able to do the reverse as well (if you want contacts on your SIM).
