nokia 5300 and ubuntu 7.10

Currently have ubuntu 7.10, i just bought a nokia 5300 was wondering if anyone knew if it's possible to transfer my music to my cell. Advice would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, the 5300 works with Ubuntu or any other Linux distribution just fine for transferring media. My wife transfers music from her 5300 to and from her phone all the time with both bluetooth and USB. USB is of course quicker for large files, but if it's only one song, a theme, etc.. bluetooth works just fine.
When you plug it in, just choose Data Storage.
