Alrighty, so It seems that the GSM version, the z6 has the linux OS. I have the Bell CDMA version, the Z6m, and its got just the plain motorola system on it.

Is there any way to flash the phone with the Linux OS? I REALLY like it lol and I've searched around a lot but haven't found anything

Any help would rock! Thanks guys!

Bump!! I can't believe nobody is interested in this!

Nope. The linux OS hasn't been ported to CDMA phones.

i very very much doubt that you will be able to flash it successfully with the linux OS. because the hardware is different, you may end up frying your phone.

Assuming that the hardware issues are sorted out, is it likely at all to see a Linux flash or something?

None of the CDMA versions of the ROKR or RIZR have the Linux OS so it's really not possible. Like they said, the hardware is different. Would this be wicked to have? Yes, but it's not really a worth while question considering Moto did not design a CDMA version with Linux. It's like asking for an apple that tastes like coffee. It's just not designed to taste that way.
