How do I get OEM W580i Themes

Hey,
I am new to moding phones, so bare with me.
Before I purchased my 580i, i watched several video reviews ( happened to be UK reviews ) and when they demonstrated the phone, they showed several cool flash themes that modified both wallpaper, screen savers, lighting effects, and menu effects such as splat, strobe and spinnin'. So after purchasing my phone via ATT / Cingular I noticed that these themes and menus are not offered. It sounds as if it is because the phone is branded / has different FW ? My question is how can I get these themes back with special menu effects? Is it a locked , branded, or FW thing? If someone could please provide me with how and what i need to accomplish this i would appreciate it. Sorry if this has already been answered in another post somewhere else, but i have searched so far did not see it. Also, what are the side effects / repercussions from performing the neccessary steps ( i.e Warranty void , performance of phone, etc etc.. ? Also if its a FW thing that i have to change, is it possible to save a copy of this firmware that i already have with Cingular on a disk to put back if need be? Any help i would appreciate it.
Thanks

There are TONS of posts. Maybe you could've searched for debranding Sony Ericssons.
Your phone is ATT branded. They brand the phone to allow no network selection, and to change out flash menus for their custom menus. There are several ways to debrand your phone, but the easiest I've tried was wotanserver (add a .com to the end).
Note that you will lose AT&T's mobile email, the voicemail icon with the amount of voicemails you have waiting (you still get the icon, but no number next to it), and a few other little tiny features. You gain flash menus, network selection, ability to use full Mp3's and ringtones and much more.
Some people argue that debranding voids the warranty(with AT&T), while others say Cingular accepts the phone anyway. Most if not all stores will accept the phone back if you have any problems or need it exchanged. If you have the specific AT&T firmware, you can re-brand your phone back to AT&T's liking, but that method is one I've never tried.
Debranding the phone is basically reseting the phone to how it should be if you bought it directly through Sony Ericsson. Note that your phone won't be unlocked, just debranded.
