Just ported - Quick way to transfer contacts into a SYNC and a Duo?

Just ported from Sprint after 7+ years.

I have a .csv file for my contacts I extracted from my Sanyo via BITPIM. Is there an easy way to import those into the SYNC? What about a Pantec Duo?

I found a way my son's katana has bluetooth, and I can use BITPIM to extract my contacts and then load my contacts onto the katana then transfer via BT to the SYNC. worked fine for his contacts

You can import them into either Outlook or Outlook Express. Open Contacts in Outlook or Adresses in Outlook Express to make sure all the fields needed are populated correctly. You can use the PC Studio for Samsung, which you can download from Samsung's website, to synchronize your address book with either Outlook or Oulook Express. A Bluetooth dongle is the least expensive way to connect the handset to your PC.

You can use ActiveSync with any Windows Mobile based PDA or Smartphone.

Thanks. I already got them transferred. Is the PC Studio a free download? What about ActiveSync?

Yes, and yes.

So how do you like the Duo, I keep reading mixed reviews.

My daughter seems to like it, it is hers. She liked the form factor for texting. It was only $99 and we do not use the data.

Where can you find the PC Studio program? I do not see it on Samsung's site.
