Gridiron Heroes: The fight song for the Detroit Lions

Is there any way for you tech savvy guys out there to somehow get this guys voice only in mp3 format so I can somehow get it to my iphone?

I'm completely clueless when it comes to this stuff and would really like this bad boy as a ringtone. That and:

hail to the Victors: the University of Michigan fightsong.

There are none captured with the guy in my first post? I just wanted the official singer of it on the iPhone...and when I downloaded that version it wouldn't let me set to a ringtone on my iPhone.

Are there any other versions of the Fight song that people have captured?

Thanks for the help

Is that what you wanted? And have you ever convert mp3 to m4r for iPhone before?

Nope, I have never done it before.

**And to your question about if that was the one I wanted. Yea I guess it'll do until I can get the version with the guy who sings it at the games captured.

You know if anyones captured him singing it by chance?

First, if anyone were to capture the exact song from your YouTube link, it would be inaudible!

Second, if you want to convert it into your iPhone.

If you can't get it to work, come back here and I'll help you.

Hey, Gridironhero00,

Here is the exact capture from your link:
http://rapidshare.com/files/7184020...ouTube.mp3.html

As you noticed, the quality is bad, but that's the best you can get from capturing it.

Awesome, yea the quality of that is kinda fuzzed out and you can hear cheering. But I'm putting the one you showed me on...but I have one question...it says to use the Internet explorer to navigate itunes.

Thats the only part im stuck on.

Here's how I do it:
On #4, right-click on the name of the ringtone file, and select "Info." It will tell you where it's located:"____>____>____>___>..."

OR (something like this)

On #4,
click START in your Windows,
click "Computer,"
double-click "User's Documents,"
double-click "My Music,"
..."iTunes,"
..."iTunes Music,"
...<<And here maybe different>>
...

What about #8? I got all of it done...but it says cannot copy to iPhone because the original copy could not be found.

Yeah, #8 can be tuffy.

In the Internet Explorer window (with the .m4r file located), leave it open.

In iTunes, have iTunes Ringtone list screen open seperately.

Now, DRAG the newly changed .m4r file (from the Internet Explorer window) INTO the iTunes Ringtone list screen.

Wahla. Done.

Go Lions!!!

Haha you make it sound so easy! LoL!

I went to Computer --> User documents --> My Music --> Itunes music --> and theres the song in a couple subfolders..

I dragged it into the Ringtones part of my itunes and it shows up...and I can play it and everything.

But when I go to sync it tells me it still can't be found

In those subfolders, did you change it to .m4r then drag into iTunes? (Don't change the name YET until you drag it in.)

Posted by: Gridironhero00

Yes I did, I changed it from m4a to m4r. Then dragged it into the Ringtones section.

You didn't change the actual name before you dragged it, right?

No just after the .m4a part.

And you didn't erase it from you playlist in iTunes, right?

Nope, it's still in my playlist...it's actually in the Ringtone section also.

But when I go to my phone...it doesn't show any Ringtones that can be selected for sync.

Okay I did get the same message before, but I was able to do it.

Try erase everything and do it again.

***One important thing, you must have iTune 7.5.

(I will type a new guide, just wait).

Posted by: toss002

I did it this way:

1. In iTunes, "Import" the .mp3 file into iTunes (in "Music"), without creating a new playlist.

2. Locate it, and convert it to AAC.

3. Locate the newly converted file in "Windows" via Internet Explorer.

4. Rename it to ".m4r" (leave this window open).

5. Open/Click the iTunes "Ringtone" section.

6. Drag the ".m4r" over into iTunes "Ringtone" section.

7. Plug your iPhone in.

Posted by: toss002

After you got it in the "Ringtones" section of your iTunes, you can erase it from your playlist.
