Dead W810i b/c of update - Help Please

Hi, I have a w810i that was previously R4DB005. I haven't been to the cell phone moding scene for quite awhile.

I wanted to back-up my contacts so I googled up My Phone Explorer, but MPE did not work and told me to update my usb drivers. I googled up that using sony ericcson update service would update my usb drivers. So i d/l'd the program and launched it and I only wanted to update my usb drivers but then it began updating my firmware also so I just left it on overnight.

I wake up in the morning and Sony update service is at the main screen so I assume that all is well and the update is complete but now my w810 won't turn on. I tried plugging in the charger and it still won't turn on.

Is there anyway to save my phone?? If it matters I do have old backups of my FS.

this is exactly wat happened to my w550i, except i used the sony ericsson update to update firmware, the fone worked for a bit, but now permanently dead, i asked loads for help alot of times at this forum, BUT NO REPLIES!! at least they can say "dunno"

well mate, **** happens, i guess its better if u take it to a shop to confirm the problem and see if canbe fixd instead of asking peple here who are so bludy unwilling to help (or dont know how to do it, my bad)

I'm not an expert but did anyone try reflashing their firmware through Wotan or Davinci? That may bring them back to life from what I've read before.
