yeah i mean u cant unlock it....he's on rogers i said it was impossible cuz i thought it was a brand new phone

how do you guys figure i just got my phone and got it unlocked it was 1.12

it was a hard process and about 16 hours of reading but i have it runnning on rogers right now...

Buying an iPhone with 1.1.2 and unlocking is much more different that just upgrading to 1.1.2 and unlocking

since: Buying BNIB 1.1.2 has new BootLoader 4.6 which cannot be unlocked

I also have 1.1.2, and even wrote a Guide on how to unlock it

i got a 1.1.2 but it was not with the new bootloader..

downgrade to 1.1.1 with itunes
jailbreak
add sources for i.phone.no
install modem driver from unlock tools for 4.02.13_G
reboot phone
do anysim 1.1
restore 1.1.1 with itunes again
should say sim card for provider or something
jailbreak
add sources for i.phone.no

and viola im running my 1.1.2 iphone on 1.1.2
my origional modem firmware was 4.02.13_G its now 4.01.13_g

any more questions ?

Dude, can you post pics showing the 1.1.2 firmware with a 4.01.13g modem? I didn't think it was possible.

It may have been a really early batch of 04.02.13g with the old Bootloader, not with the new bootloader 4.0.6 which, cannot be unlocked. So it's possible to unlock 04.02.13 OTB BUT with the old Bootloader.

Why one share the software with those who want to unlock their 1.1.2 iPhones? I know that it says that the software will only unlock one iPhone per license, but I am sure there are quite a few out there who might be able to reverse engineer the software. Just a thought.
