Just wondering if the sync capabilities are any better than the SE software in Outlook. If you don't know what I'm talking about, go to: http://www.mobipocket.com/en/Downlo...p.asp?feature=2
Looks pretty cool.

I just took a quick look at it. Installed. Had no idea how to use it with Outlook XP. Didn't install an icon, no help text or online support to get it working.
Uninstall is broken and requires going to MB's FAQ to manually uninstall. Not ready for PrimeTime, I'm afraid.

Hmmmmm. Sounds pretty weak. I'll skip it for now....thanks for the reply!

Thru continuing "hammering" I finally got Office Companion to work with Outlook. In my case, the solution was too weird to go into and I'm not sure that it will apply to everyone's set-up.
Despite the "not-ready-for-primetime" aspects of this software, I'm happy to finally have a way to transfer my Outlook Notes to my P800 and see them sorted alphabetically.
Jotter, the default application for Outlook Notes, only sorts by creation (modification?) date. That makes it pointless -- other than having to use the FIND function to locate an entry.
With the export to Mobipocket reader, my entries are sorted alphabetically which, to me, makes a heckuva lot more sense.
I did try sending an MS WORD doc thru the procedure and it transferred without a hitch.
Might be worth playing with if you're willing to hassle some rough edges. Remember -- uninstall can prove a bit tricky. (Uninstall from your desktop, that is. The program doesn't install any software on your P800.)
