Hi:

On the R4DB005 Firmware for the W810i, there was an automated e-mail section in messaging. Since this firmware it has been dropped in favor of the mobile e-mail app. I've dug around in the FS of R4EA031 and found where the menu was dropped and re-enabled it, however, it still doesn't work. When you open the e-mail subsection of messaging, it's completely blank. I'm assuming the code and the rest of the menu has been dropped as well. My question is if any developers / modders know of a way to re-activate it. I dug through the FS of R4DB005 and tried replacing the menus on R4EA031 and changing all of the settings and the menu.ml file, however, it still doesn't work ( I boot to a completely black screen). Is there any way this could be written into the MAIN as well? I assumed it would only be in the FS, but as we all know assumptions are the mother of all f**k ups.

The reason for all this is just convenience. I don't like having to go and start the Mobile E-Mail app or Gmail app every time I want to check my mail. I prefer to have it auto download every 5 minutes. And mobile e-mail doesn't allow custom e-mail accounts, only a certain few.

Any help would be appreciated.
