I do not know if I want to leave my T-Mo Dash for the iPhone. I know a lot about both, but I guess I know nothing about the customer service at att. Any recommendations would be great!

Depends what you're going to be using it for. The dash has a physical qwerty keypad so it will be faster to sms etc. My cousin had 1 so I got to play with it for a while and it's pretty good. If you're going to be listening to music on it a lot and browsing wifi you might want to go for the iphone. The texting on it is rather slow since it's on a touch screen.

Comp... I'm in your shoes as well. My GF and I have been having issues with our Dash phones as far as the telephone functions aspect of it are concerned...everything from spotty call quality with 3-4 bars reception in our homes to a speakerphone that's not reliable enough for daily use...all these things have pushed us to looking elsewhere for smartphone/pda devices that will make our lives easier.

I'm more of a tech person so the multimedia functions of the iphone will impress me...

I guess what makes all the difference in the world to me will me what won't I be able to do with the Iphone that I can now do with the Dash...

Keep in mind my Dash is fully loaded with just about every feature/software minus the Slingbox Television option. What I need to know is how is the call quality with the Iphone over T mobiles GSM phone network? Before TMO I was with Verizon for a year using the Q and sad to say I must admit as a telephone the Q was superior to the Dash when it came to actual things like call quality and clarity of being able to hear and be heard when using it as a telephone....

Those are the things that matter most to me in addition to battery life etc...I didn't have any problems with my Q other than the outrageous amount I paid Verizon for monthly service

It really depends what you want in your phone. The Dash is a messaging beast with the full keyboard, but it can also hold it's own in the media department. iPhone you have to test before you buy...
