Hey all, first post thought this was ridiculous. The BJ2 of course showed up online last thursday for me, but neither of the two official AT&T stores in the Sacramento area have this phone yet! I called and they said hopefully the 29th. Why can't they get their act together? Anyone else having this problem?

I also live in the Sacramento area. I've called all three stores in my immediate area and none of them have it yet. The answers range from "any day now" to "before Christmas".
I was really wanting to see one of these in person, as I loved the original Blackjack. I went ahead and decided to order the Moto Q9h from Premier instead for now. Seems as though it's getting a lot of good reviews, especially directly compared to the BJII.
I'll exchange it for the BJII if the Q9h isn't my cup of tea. I'm using an HTC Cavalier right now, and getting tired of some of it's issues.

One Word: Ebay

Ebay is not a good answer for those of us who want to play with the phone before we buy it. I'm having the same issues in Denver. I've called multiple corp stores in the area and same response. Coming in Nov 30th to sometime after xmas. How come they can't get their act together and get this shipped to all there stores?

Because, its AT&T's world, and we just live in it.

Sounds like a rushed release just like the BJ1 when the BT stack was not finished among other things. This time the ROM/Software side seems stable but build quality is questionable, GPS chips are hit and miss defective, etc.
Get a Q instead. Seems to be the better phone anyway.

Why dont you just order online? They are available and you can return it once you are done "playing with it".

because online i can't fool the sales person into giving me 50% off. the people in-store definitely aren't knowledgable, and that is what i'm banking on.
