ATT Tilt / Kaiser: charge and use earphone at same time?

Tile/Kaiser has mini USB which does both charging and earphone. Can both function be used at same time? For example, I want to play MP3 in the car with FM transmitter and also charge the phone. I found Moto makes a mini USB to 3.5mm adapter to allow me to hook up to generic FM transmitter. I have not yet found a splitter to allow me hooking up both charger and earphone. Is it allowed? If so, anyone found a splitter yet?

I was surprised that you didn't get a splitter with your phone that allowed you to charge and listen to the earphones at the same time. i received one when i had my Dash and my Wing. I know that you have a different phone, but it's still an HTC product.

Didn't get isht with my Tilt. LoL My homegirl got the Mogul, and it came with headphones and a case. All my phone came with was an extra stylus. Yippee! :|

i got a Y slitter from HTC so that is what i use when it comes to charging and talking on the phone with the headphones. i do that at night when i am about to fall asleep and i am on the phone.

thx for both the links; on a side note would a cradle purchased for the tytn also work on the tilt; i am awaiting to receive my xmas gift, the at&t which i got via premier..yipee..!!
