Hey which weather plug in have you guys used and liked? The SBSH PocketWeather or the SPB Weather.....so far I have only tried the SPB one, just curious.

I have used both, and while i liked having all SPB software on my phone, I didnt like a missing feature. Current Temperature. I dropped SPB and am currently awaiting the new sbsh weather to be released, just for that simple feature.

I use weatherpanel. I think it is the best out there. And it has some very nice skins. Go here and check it out http://www.weatherpanel.net/

Similar apps however I think SBSH is easier to configure. I too like Spb stuff but for some reason I think SBSH has a leg up with weather.

I have tried weatherpanel, but I just didn't care for it. Do keep in mind, in SPB and SBSH, it is sometimes necessary to use other weather sources. I ended up using W_Channel when using SPB, which you can get by going to their website and there is a link to another site that has a decent sized list of weather sources to go through.

I had to modify my weather source for SBSH so it would find the city I live in also.

Yeah I am currently using an older version of SPB that I owned with my Dell Axim....I have downloaded and install the Weather.ch temp and it does help, espc will USA cities.

Thanks for everyones response...I guess I will just stick with what I have for now.

I found, both programs are the same for me. You can edit and get different skins for each. Play around and see which one you like.

Yea for the most part they are the same, but the one thing that made me like SBSH over SPB was that SBSH Weather displayed current temp along with a forecast. That is what is sealing the deal for me, when they release their new version.

I'm surprise you didn't like WP. There are a lot of skins for it and it provides lots of information. I own spbh weather and tried spb. But to me they just don't compare to WP. And WP is free.

I will prefer the Spb Mobile Shell. The mobile shell includes the spb weather and allow you to change the layout and I believe is the most popular software on PPC devices.

Been using SBSH Pocket Weather for years on all my devices, have no reason to try another. The City lists are so detailed, I never have a problem when I travel....

A little on the pricey side. And I don't see any benefit over the others.

I see some nifty features however not $7.95 or 9.95 per month for gps features etc...that monthly fee is the same reason I no longer use Agile Messenger!

Edit: NVM I now see that Agile offers a one-time fee option of $44.95...

I'm such a Tilt noob. I figured out how to install SBSH, but it won't update. Are there step by step instructions anywhere?

Well, I did get SBSH working...but now I have another stupid question. How do I get it to display the "current" temperature/weather on the today screen? Right now I have the forecast for the next few days showing...I looked through the settings but didn't see which option I should select. Thanks.

I had that same problem. It would update the forecast for the week but it kept telling me the current weather was 86 when I have 3 inches of snow outside.

Did you ever get it resolved?

If I can't get the current weather diaplayed on the today page I'll have to go with a different program.

Anyone know how to display the current temperature on the today screen with SBSH? My trial expires in a week or so and I'm obviously not going to pay for it if I can't get it working. Thanks.
