Hello there,

I received my At&t tilt a week ago and i have several issues:

1. The wifi says that i am connected but when i go to internet explorer and try to go to a website it tells me: "this page cannot be found. check the name and try again? i have no idea whats wrong?

2. how do I install google maps? so that i can actually use my gps

3. is there a better alarm program out there?

i really appreciate the help

thanks

1. check your router settings, and check if you entered the info correct on your device as well

2. search google maps for wm6 in google that would be the first thing you see

3. yes there is a better alarm program you can use oxios alarm or htc home alarm there a lot out there you just have to do your research to see which one is better for you

thank you verrry much for your help,

i went to this website:"http://www.google.com/gmm/index.html" and downloaded the following:

"Windows Mobile users: Download the CAB and ActiveSync" i have active sync but when i download that and extract it gives me a ton of files and i have no idea what to do with them...

thanks for your help

you need to move the cab to your phone, then run it from your phone. it wil linstall from there.

go to google.com on your Pocket IE, click on the link gmail, maps, & more...click on the link MAPS (download ). it should prompt you to download the cab file.

yes once you have moved the cab file into your phone either storage card or device memory... once you have done that then you can use your phone's file manager and you can run and install the file

I'm having sort of the same issue with google maps. I've downloaded and installed it fine however I can't seem to get it to ever pick up a satellite. Always says it can't find them. Am i doing something wrong?

on google maps go to gps setting change the automatic setting to manual select com4 and baud 4800 and then try again. if that doesnt work try this program http://classic.pocketgear.com/softw...7&associateid=9, run the program first and then run google maps. make sure you change the setting in GPS Test to com4 and baud 4800. hope that helps

do you have to be on the internet to use google maps or can you use it offline?

Posted by: COF23

yes you have to have internet. if you dont have unlimited data package, i wouldnt recomend using google maps because it uses a lot of data.

i personally like SPB Time
its really amazing but does cost $15
it i use it at school here for my alarm everyday
because i have different times that i need to get up everyday of the week because of class, flying (aviation major) or work
and its really nice to have as many alarms as i like
plus it doesnt care what the system volume is
it just goes off anyway
