Hi,
Has anyone managed successfuly export a DV movie to P800 ?
By sucessful I mean smooth video motion and legible audio.
What I did is I took Full DV quality QT movie file and using Quick Time Pro saved in MPEG-4 format.
I then beamed via BT (sweet !) the clip file to P800.
No matter what I do the frame loss on video is unbearable and audio is crackling.
I experimented with with multiple export settings (resulting in files from 0.7M to 1.5 M), tweaking frame size, quality, fps, etc.
BTW, the maximum frame size for built-in PacketVideo player is 192x144.
I also tried placing clips both on internal storage as well as MS (as I thought P800 can't keep up reading).
No luck.
Any thoughts ?

did you try without audio ? and see how the picute is holding up
how about if you take the video clip that is on the phone and analize that one might that help finding the right settings?

THNX !
I managed to get the video (and audio) going ...
I found the following video settings at packetvideo ... they are optimized for use on P800.
Follow these to setup properties / export settings on QuickTimePro.

R2A firmware allows for full widescreen video (320x208). Has anyone tried encoding at that resolution?
