Telstra razr2 V9 Images

Hi i'm new to the moto phone game i have been a Nokia man all the time. Well i picked up the new V9 but when i transferred all my pic accross from my old nokia to the V9 some ove the files say image to large to show? this to me is a very big down side to this phone if it can't handle images 1.2mb in size. is there a way around this?
