I just bought an un locked pebl of eBay and its not going to good.

I cant send or get picture messages
I cant get on the internet
and a lot of the time i don't receive phone calls

Im using cingular/att
I tried calling cingular and they were no help, they said cause its an un locked phone theres nothing they can do. so i turn to you guys for some help
Is this a problem that can be fixed?
or am i stuck with what i got?

if your phone was bought "unlocked" then the chances are, it does NOT have Cingular/AT&T software on it, therefore, it does NOT contain the Access point settings REQUIRED to surf and use multimedia message.

You can either Flash the phone with a CingulAT&T monster pack, or just learn how to mod the phone and simply input the settings in the phone yourself. You might want to visit the AT&T forum to find out where to get the settings from and where to input them. Sorry to burst your bubble but not many people want to provide support to unbranded phones, since its dificult to program sometimes, especially in the case where required settings menus have been removed or disabled by the original carrier/reseller the phone came from.

These are the settings for MediaNet on the Razr. I think the PEBL is similar. Try to find a listing somewhere on the phone called WEB SESSIONS and input this information. You might have to create a new profile. Call it MediaNEt.
