What can be used to program a centro? QPST?

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

I am looking to put an older prl file on my centro phone since it worked better but I cannot seem to find out what program I need to do this?

I have QPST 2.7 but it cannot find my phone. Is there any special drivers I need or anything else that would be used to add a prl to the phone?

PRL is the preffered roaming list.

and QPST is the Qualcomm Phone Service Tool.

If you look at mobile files dot com, there is a thread about it. Qpst/bitpim is not working by 2 users.

Here's a complete writeup for connecting QPST to your Centro, and also for unlocking it from Sprint, so it can be used with another carrier (like Verizon):

What are the options? If there aren't any, then I would guess "MSM6500". Sounds like a likely match.

When you connect your phone with QPST, it will say it under
"Phone (ESN)"

It would not be MSM6500 because it support MEID (I think).

I think the Treo 650 chipset were different too because it did not support EV.. have to make up a list someday
