I live in Canada but right at the US border. Most of my travelling is in the US. I currently have a T-Mo2Go Nokia. I'm not a big user so T-Mo prepaid is great for my needs. I'd be willing to P/U a Touch from Rogers (the price is right with my Company's plan) to use its Wi-Fi and Windows Mobile features. First, I need to know if unlocking this unit is easy/possible so I could drop in my T-Mo SIM when I'm in the US.

Can anybody shed some light?

http://forum.xda-developers.com/ is a good place to start. The previous versions of the touch were easy enough to unlock. The Rogers version is slightly different with more memory. I don't know if the described method applies.

Eventally though, it will be cracked.

Thanks Mr. I'll have a look. I guess that I could also just buy a WiFi PDA, but it looks loke I'd be spending the same money anyway.
