I am having a huge problem.

when I used this site for my ringtones on my old razr v3. I could download them from site,thn just hit "apply as" and Now with my Krzr K1 I do the same process with regards to downloading etc. but when they are saved in my phone memory or memory card. It will not allow it to be applied as a ring tone.?

anyone have any help or is this a security feature on the new moto's due to the ring tone being self created and free.

it is saved on my phone,just cannot be applied

Sorry to burst your bubble but ALL new carrier-released phones from Motorola have the DRM restriction in place on them. You will now have the option to purchase a ringtone from the carriers WAP site, or other ringtone content sites like jamster/muchmusic/sympatico etc to use as ringtones.

Do a search, this is NOT new.
