i dont understand the point of that app? they send the info on songs i listen to that website? so what? what do i get in return??

I could be wrong, but I thought I read it used that information to inform you of new albums and concerts done by the artists you listen to. I am not a user, seems lame to me.

can u check if thats true please? if it doesn inform me of concerts and stuff then maybe its really good.. please someone post

While in installer, looking at that program, click the "more info" button. It clearly explains what it does.

Ever hear of Last.fm? If not, go here.

It basically (helps?) you (or big brother?) keep track of all the music you listen to. It'll then make nice little charts and summaries on your profile page so that you (and others) can see what you've been listening to. Using this information, it'll recommend other music artists to you and show you other people who have similar music tastes.

Usually you install a plug-in on your computer that'll send the last.fm server a list of the songs you've been listening to. The iPhone app does the same thing, except on your iPhone.

Go to the site and look at a few profiles and it'll make more sense.

i got it, but is it worth it? i mean i made an account and played some music but im not sure if its so good, i mean is it a good service?
