Hey guys I'm looking for an app that allows you to view all available cell towers and then lock into the one you choose... Any such app out there and if so where can I find it. thanks everyone for your help I really appreciate it.

I know I have seen that before on my friends phone, but don't remember what its called and he is out of the country for a couple of weeks. Sorry I can't offer more help than confirming it exists and telling you not to give up.

Quick answer: no such app exists.

The phone will lock onto the strongest signal it finds. You can't force what tower you're attached to. If you could, it would be easier to appear to be somewhere else for tracking purposes.

Hmmm...maybe THAT'S why you're trying to find it. You can stop looking...because it doesn't exist.
