i bought a brand new blackberry curve off ebay. can i add insurance on it? Do I contact my rep of just call customer service. I work at radioshack if tha matters and am on an employee pricing plan anr25

the curve isnt insurable.

As far as I know, they won't add insurance to a phone bought off of ebay. You have to buy the phone new and put insurance on it within 30 days. But Nukucamui is right, blackberrys are not covered by the insurance.

Sell the phone back on ebay.

Go to wireless.att.com and set up your on-line account manager.
Once its set up...click UPGRADE PHONE. It will give you the 2 year pricing since we initially set up the account with a phone that was purchased full-retail...or used. I got my 8300 refurb for $29.99.

Anyways, it makes you sign a 2 year agreement, and pay $18 upgrade fee...but it gives you the option to keep the plan as it is. Still $25 a month for 2000 minutes, unlim text etc..

You'll just have to add the BIS blackberry plan on...either call your rep, or do it yourself on POSII.

I did this a month ago and my rep said "if it worked...then cool".

Not that it matters, im leaving RS tomorrow for an AT&T agent store.
