Downgrade Itouch to 1.1.1 question

I read 2 diffrent instructions, my question is when i open Itunes to downgrade to 1.1.1 do i press "Check for updates" or "Restore" button?
Or it doesnt matter?

You need to have the 1.1.1 restore file, which you can find on this forums by searching. To restore to that file you hold down the shift key (if on a mac I believe it is the option key) while pressing restore, and then select that firmware version. Its that easy!
