having trouble with active sync on my tilt

ok so i just got my tilt , and i installed the the new version of active sync . but now everytime i connect my htc using usb onto my pc. it doesnt connect and it ends up teling me "active sync is going to trouble shoot ".. i tried every possible solution , for example disconnecting and connecting back in the usb. restarting the computer , restarting the phone . and it just doesn want to sync to my comp ... plz help asap! i want music on my phone . and i need that to work .

check your device settings. on your tilt you can open up the activesync and check the connection settings and see if its set up for USB or whatever your connection is when you are connecting to the computer
