We are on t-mobile and qualify for the 2yr upgrade, so my wife wants a phone with a calender she input in on the go and email functions, not push just regular pop3 mail. Which would you buy her the pearl or shadow.
One more question I'm sure the shadow will sync with vista's calender but will the pearl?

I prefer my shadow over the pearl. I had the pearl and as much as I liked it... it was sorta slow... there were instances when I had to reset it cause it froze up.

The biggest diff to me between the 2 is the wifi.

And I dont know if it makes a difference to her, but I hated that the memory slot was behind the battery on the pearl.

However, in my opinion.. the Shadow takes some getting used to. If youre not familiar windows mobile, its gonna take some getting used to...

I would choose the shadow, but you really should have try out the phones at the store and see what shes comfortable with...

*and I'm no sure if the pearl syncs with vista..
