Is my 6700 (HTC Apache) bricked?

Hi all. I have the Verizon version of the HTC Apache, the PPC 6700. Last night, I left the phone plugged in with my AC adapter to charge the battery. A few hours later I wanted to make a phone call, so I picked it up and noticed the light in the upper right hand corner was red. I tried switching out my extended battery with my normal stock battery (which was working last I knew) and it gave me the same issue the next morning. Is my phone bricked, or do I have any sort of chance?

Have you tried a different battery and/or charger?

Yes. All of the above. I think it could be dead... which is unfortunate.
