Question...

I just ordered a tilt to replace my OLD Motorla MPX200. Can I use the car charger, wall charger, and sync cable from my old phone with my new tilt? They all have the mini USB connector.

My new phone comes with new ones except for the car charger, but it would be nice to keep a cable in my office and at home.

Would this damage anything???

Well i'm not exactly sure and wouldn't really recommend it as they might have different charging capabilities. Compare the chargers and the info, if all the same, then you might be good to go. But since the Tilt does come with it's own stuff, why not use those?

Well, I received my Tilt and the cables that I have won't work because the connector is slightly different.

that's dissapointing

I looked at the pictures online for the motorola's cell and it seems the usb cable should fit. I have motorola razr v3 and all of their chargers works with the Tilt.

Have you tried turn it around to plug it in? I know the cable from Motorola has an arrow key that said 'top' might want to turn it around as on the Tilt, the connector is reversed (or look at the connector to turn it accordingly).

On My 8525, the standard mini-usb connector works just fine!!! I use a standard sync cable and a generic car adapter without a problem!!

Funny thing... The motorola plug has a wider top and smaller bottom. The tilt had a rectangle with a slant cut in the bottom right. I thought it woudln't work, but I tried it and it does fit. Plugged it in a there you go... done! I guess I have 2 cables after all!
