Hello

I will be buying an unlocked iphone for TMOBILE in Florida. I wanted to know who else uses their iphone on TMOBILE in the USA and what internet plan you have which will work perfectly with all the features on the iphone?

(browser, youtube, text messaging, picture messaging)

Thank you in advance.

I use my grandfathered $2.99 plan with the proxy hack. (Now its $5.99) Some ports are blocked but most everything works fine. You tube search doesn't work.. But if you have it cached via wifi you still can stream. I even can stream my MythTv recordings via port 80 without any problems. I'm staying with the cheap plan until they force me to change. So far, so good. Every month that goes by saves me $17 bucks.

You're new, but you do need to search around a bit before asking common questions.

As the other dudes said, $5.99 T-Zones works perfectly with the hacks installed through the installer app (look it up, lol). There are two files you'll need, one is the proxy hack, the other is a patch that stops the settings from disappearing after you restart the phone. The hack is required because 1) T-Zones requires a proxy to work (it's a back-door thing, T-Mobile wouldn't approve), and 2) there is no place on the iPhone network settings to add the proxy. Previously, you had to manually edit files on the phone, which you probably wouldn't have enjoyed. This is so easy now.

Safari will work fine, and as other dude said, youtube won't. You can use VTap for videos while using T-Zones.

The messaging part isn't covered under T-Zones unless you're using a web based IM client. You can add a text messaging plan just fine, but the iPhone doesn't support picture messaging. There is an app in development that currently allows sending pics, but not receiving. The current version doesn't work with T-Mo since it doesn't allow for all of the extra settings T-Mo requires. Just be patient.

Research Installer.App and how to install it (via the method you'll use to unlock, jailbreak and activate your phone- look at the stickies at the top of this forum).

Best of luck.
