Hi all,

I just got my Tilt about a week ago and I'm lovin it. But I have one slight issue that I'm having that I hope you guys can help me fix.

The phone dialer makes the beeping noises like a landline phone, is there anyway to turn this off like a regedit or something? I've tried turning the sounds off for the phone with no luck, but when I turn the ringer off it turns off those sounds. But I would like to be able to use my ringer.

I searched and could not find anything on it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

i know there is sound utility where you can add sounds to things and turn off sounds all that stuff anyone know what that program is?

I found this really annoying as well since when it does play the sound it REALLY lags the keyboard input... Drove me nuts!

Fortunately there is an easy fix!

In the dialer just goto Menu/Options - You should be at the Phone tab and will see Sounds, Keypad, it's as simple as changing it to Off and you won't be bugged by the annoying tones!

Wow that was an incredibly easy fix.... I saw that and didn't know what it was for and left it alone. Thanks a lot, now the whole world doesn't know im calling someone.
