So apparently, I suck at the HTC. And for some screwed up reason, I didn't get a manual!

So!
What I need to know is...
Is it possible to enable a predictive txt that completes words for you rather than just putting them in that annoying little bar below what ever you are typing? Also, is it possible to set the keyboard so that there is ONE letter per touch-square, instead of two?

If someone would be so kind as to dig up an online manual for me, I would be eternally greatful!

Just go to www.HTC.com and choose the more products tab and then select the tab called support. Look for your model (Touch) and download the appropriate user manual

i have the Rogers HTC Touch and my manual came on the CD in a PDF file.

I have a Touch Dual, so things may be different a little.

You should have a keyboard that looks like this (except mine is French/AZERTY):

You switch from predictive txt to one tap lettre, just press "abc" or "XT9" or "123". If it shows "XT9" (just beside shift), then you are in predictive.

Predictive

Numeric

One key, it only show up in specific mode, like when you press "To" to get your contact list.
