Phone Protector for my Shadow

Hey guys, I got a T-Mobile shadow.
I hate using the case it comes with because of me constantly have to taking it out and in the case if I just want to do something as simple as checking the time.
I was thinking of getting this.

Good? Worth it?
Any other simple case/screen protectors that will allow me to use the phone....while in the case? lol
