So I had an unlocked 1.0.2 iPhone that I previously thought was bricked. It turns out the phone may just simply be defective. After many tries i finally got the phone to boot, I "virginize" the baseband, and then restore it to 1.1.1. Right after it finish restoring, the phone turned itself off again. Now it will not turn on if it is not plugged in. If plugged, it will display ther apple logo for a few second and then turn itself off again.
Since the phone has been fully restored to 1.1.1, do you think I can take it back to Apple to have them fix it? I am guessing it is the battery that is messed up. Please share your experience, thank you!! |
