MY P800 cannot synch anymore via infrared. If I put it next to my laptop, the statusbar shows "P800 detected" but does not change into the two infrared icons with information exchange. It dissapears after 20 secconds and then pops up again after 20 secconds. I did not change the settings in my P800. What is wrong?

Try adjusting the max connection speed of the IR on your PC to a lower speed - depending on version of Windows will be accessed from the Control Panel by Wireless Link or Infra-Red then Properties (then Advanced tab?).

could it be your infrared port itself? Try testing it with something else.

Well it does detect the P800. So if either PC or P800 IR port would not work then this would not be possible. (it actually says "P800 in range" very frustrating as it always worked.
