here is the link I promised in another thread that I can't find now. This is from a post on Esato. Says if you make this adjustment, you're CDA firmware will not revert back to the old version after flashing. Go to p. 3 of the thread and look for the post from "JAYV" Hope this helps...

The problem is that the cda text file is not the only system file that gets overwritten. Unfortunately with this method, one must find all the system files in the backup file and exclude them as well.
