So every time we want to check the message we have to turn the phone on right? When the phone is charging the light around the D-pad blinks on and off. What if there was a way to make it so that this light flashed when we recieved a message/missed call/ e-mail etc...I would pay money for a program that could do that if someone could develop it.

Sure is!!! I mean we could install software like "Don't Forget" for a ringer alert... but the flashing, light-up keypad would be awsome!!!

I wouldn't mind paying for this either!

never thought about that. the lighting when charging is a bit annoying, but when a new vmail/sms/email/missed call comes in, that would be an awesome idea. don't know if this would be possible though.

I don't know if it works for the Q9, but Dontforget has a checkbox for enabling LED alerts.
