if it werent the fact i gotta pay $400 to verizon for deposit id been gone

and gotten a sweet deal, but not now i guess.

anyways i need a new phone and so far the only phone i want from cingular comes in a hidious ugly red. in all honesty i dont want to be with att but will be with if theres the phone i want.

please help before i go to sprint.........just because.

I beleive a Dark Gray/Black one may be coming soon. Not quite sure when, but if you check the V9 threads I sure you will find out more.

I heard a new v9 with GPS will be coming soon, and it won't be the red color. It was in one of the posts in the regular phones forum, should be there somewhere.

I got tired of waiting for another color and bought the hard to swallow wine one. It's growing on me more and more. I just couldn't wait any longer and wanted to get one before they were everywhere.

Although I just bought an UNBRANDED V9 in Mahogany. I kinda like the color.

verizon has the moto z6tv i want.

and yes, i feel verizon has a better line up than att at this moment.

its like att has mostly samsung/SE only, with 1-2 moto options,1 maybe 2 nokias.

i said sprint onlyh because im becoming frustrated. why pay for service if i cant find a phone i want with att?

i dont know what ill do. im just ticked that i cant get the amazon offer for the z6 at $50 vs 229.99 at the verizon store due to a deposit.

Does it really matter what brand Verizon has since they all pretty much run a common user interface?

There is one HUGE point you are missing. With AT&T you dont HAVE to use an AT&T branded phone--there are hundreds of unlocked/unbranded phones you can choose from.

Several hundred is 300 to 400. The N95 is 600+ BIG difference.

AHHH, I just associate "several" with around 7, and few around 3, and couple being around 2....so to me at least, several hundred would be a N95, and the V8 being a few (close to 3).

People often misunderstand what the world "several" means since it is often misused, even by the media (huge pet peeve of mine being a journalist) but the word means few, as little as two but no more than four.

So, several hundred dollars would be $200 to $400 range, while anything over four would be many hundreds of dollars.

A regular RAZR wouldn't be several hundred dollars. The original V3 can be had for less than $100 generally anymore. But a new unlocked V8 goes for several hundred (last I checked ebay, about $300).

An N95 on the other hand, phew, that's not several, not even many, that's WHOA! Heh.

I agree that the mahogany color is fugly.

The Rogers version of the V9 looks much better, at least in pictures. You should probably be able to find one on HoFo or on eBay.

Already tried there before i bought the unlocked/unbranded mahogany V9. Besides, aren't the Rogers V9's locked down as far as .MP3's go ?? As in, you cannot add your own .MP3 ringers?? Or does that just apply to the Rogers Sony Ericsson's?

service is tied with verizon here. only phone id want from att is razr2

Yeah I believe the Rogers V9's are incapable of using .mp3's that are NOT downloaded from Rogers WAP portals.

Wow, an att person wanting to go to vzw! I'm looking at leaving vzw after 10 years, just tired of the selection and crippling of their phones, ease of switching devices and the lack of service when out of the country occasionally.

It sees like all of the unlocked and unbranded phones do cost a lot but what a selection you guys have!
