Hi guys,

I just bought a used, unlocked iphone with firmware 1.0.2. I would like to upgrade it to 1.1.2 and unlock it to use with T-mobile. I searched and came up with these steps. Please help me comfirm it or correct me if I am wrong.

1. revirginize it using http://i.unlock.no
2. upgrade to 1.1.2 and unlock using http://www.iclarified.com/entry/index.php?enid=376
(will this guide work if I want to use T-mobile?)

I found so many different guides on this forum so I am a little confuse of which one to use. Please bare with me as I am so new to this. I'll learn.

Hi Wgcphd,

I went ahead and proceed the unlocking process with an AT&T Sim. It works fine with the AT&T sim; however, when I inserted the T-Mobile sim, it showed invalid sim. Did I miss anything? Please help.
