LG Vx8300 Help!

Ok i can no longer get my phone to work with my computer via USB cable. It says the device has malfunctioned. I can semi get it to work with blue tooth and bitpim but I cant detect the phone, i can transfer contacts and such though. I need to access my pictures, anyone know how? 
Or what would be wrong with it via usb
