I've been so busy, I've still yet to try upgrading from 1.0.2. Everytime I sit down to do it something comes up!

Anyway, I figured all of you pros could straighten me out

I've read in a few tutorials that if you are still on 1.0.2 and virginize, you can just proceed with directly updating to 1.1.2.

Does this mean you skip all the upgrading/downgrading steps and go straight from viginized 1.0.2 to 1.1.2, then jailbreak with jailbreak.jar? Is the installer installed with the jailbreak.jar so I can then install anySIM 1.2u?

Thanks for any info. Hopefully I'll get to upgrading sometime before the next gen iPhone comes out

By the way, anyone know if this shortened path from 1.1.1 to 1.1.2 works? Found it on hacktheiphone.com. Its for a 1.1.1 unlocked phone.

1. Run Oktoprep
2. Update to 1.1.2
3. Jailbreak
4. Put the iPhone in Airplane Mode
5. Run AnySIM1.2.1u and enjoy.

The above method is exactly what I used and worked flawlessly 1.1.2 unlocked no ripples or bumps in the road.
