Unless someone is running the same version software on the same BT stack with the same BT device you can't get 1 2 3 steps.
Basically you have to request from the PC to pair with the phone, the phone has to reply. You then have to, from the PC, discover BT services on the phone. PC BT has to start a 'serial port service'. On one of the PC BT screens the phone has to request, ususlly a right click on the phone, to connect to the PC BT serial service. In myphoneexplorer go to - file > options and search for the phone on one of the com ports. When it is found click OK and you are connected. In the Files section you will see the Phone Memory and Memory stick. You will just see the files that are in the folders and the contacts.

i was just playing around with the software and this time was able to successfully pair and transfer the files to my pc.
however, i still have some questions. if i select individual sms to export to txt file on my pc, that would take forever. however, if i select a batch of sms to export to txt file on my pc, then the date and time stamp would not show up. is there anyway i can select a batch of sms and export to my pc as txt file, but would show the time and date stamp? also, it seems like the outgoing sms doesnt produce the date and time stamp.
