Suddenly today I fired up my phone and when I received a call the person couldnt hear me unless I used speakerphone. I then tried to play musi, and alas, no musice out of the handset speakers.

The volume is turned up, but any other settings that me be muted ?

Put your earphone jack in & out of the headphone port several times... It did this to me once.

happened to me once also, tried everything even a restore, didn't fix it. But then like hour later, out of nowhere it just started to work. Maybe its because of 1.1.2 software.

Did this to me the other day too. Then I remembered reading about the headphone port fix on HOFO... Just do like he said, put the plug in and out a few times, should do the trick. The contacts that tell the phone to send all the sound to the headphones instead of the speaker tend to hang up every once in awhile...
