How to change Carrier Logo???

So I have my unlocked iPhone on rogers and I hate that it scrolls through the rogers name in the top left hand corner. I have tried installing other logo's through customize but none seem to show up when I enable them. The logo remains the same old boring ROGERS type. My customize is working as I can change my wifi logo and battery logo's etc but not my carrier logo. Any thoughts???

Install MakeItMine from Erica's apps, and change it to whatever you want. Mine says cingular now.

No, MakeItMine is for text only. If you want to use a pic, use Customize (latest version is 1.20.)

That is the exact Logo that I want.
Eric I think you posted a link to it before but the file only has the rogers writing not the wireless underneath or the circle logo to the left, any idea where you got that pic???

also of note, using the patched springboard will ALWAYS show Rogers as the carrier, so you would need to go into settings to check if you're roaming. Since Rogers is the only GSM carrier in Canada, it's probably not an issue, but just thought I should add it.

you will need the correct patched springboard for it to work with 1.1.2. I'm on 1.1.2 and have it working, but unfortunately I can't remember where I got the file from. Just google and you should find it.

Now the site says it is for 1.1.1 but I didn't notice this until after I had installed it on my 1.1.2 phone. Everything worked fine, but I backed up my original springboard, just in case.

I run demonic.cc and stumbled across this thread when I was analyzing the web traffic stats for the site. It's good to know that the 1.1.1 patched SpringBoard will also work for 1.1.2. I don't believe they changed anything in that particular binary between the two versions of the firmware. I'll make a 1.1.2 guide that uses that file and hopefully more people will end up stumbling across it. I hadn't had a chance to test this yet because I still have my iPhone running on 1.1.1.

i have a phone with 1.0.2 and i installed customize and for awhile it wouldnt let me change the carrier (which is funny because it did,then i restored and then it wouldnt!) so what i had to do was replace my chooserviews file with a modified one and after that it was smooth sailing

I put the patched springboard on my iphone, it has 775 permission it is there. Customize still will not change the carrier logo from the default. Running 1.1.2.

Any thoughts?
