Verizon & Sprint are not GSM carriers, therefore the product would be useless for those networks....

What do you mean by "perfect" like all the features? If so then it would be only AT&T in the USA, it's the only carrier you can use Visual Voicemail. The Phone does work on other GSM carriers as well.

In the U.S. the big ones are Tmobile and Cellular one (now at&t).

the phone will work perfectly on any gsm carrier, the only thing that won't is visual voicemail if your not on AT&t. Other than that you might want to use it with a carrier that has an unlimited Internet plan.

It's a quad-band GSM phone. It will work "perfectly" on any GSM carrier. Visual VoiceMail will only work on AT&T, as that's the only (US) carrier that has that "feature". However, it's a GSM phone, so it will work on any GSM carrier.

Verizon and Sprint are not GSM, which is common knowledge, so the iPhone will not work on their networks at all. No, you can't hack it to make it work on them, no you can't figure out a way to do it, and no, no one is "working on a way".
