Vista Home Premium 32 bit not recognizing xv6700 as USB modem

Hey everyone!

Does anyone know, or have a link to info, on how to get Vista to recognize the xv6700 as a USB modem?

I have tried it several ways: first having activesync active and inactive. Starting wmodem first and then connecting, having the phone connected first and then starting wmodem.

Is there something in Vista that needs to done, or do I perhaps have a wrong driver installed.

I was able to download some drivers found on here, however when I went to install them I got a message saying they couldn't install in a 32 bit configured machine.

Yeah,
I'd like to know why I cant seem to get the Modem to work either. I just bought a vista HP tablet and cant get this modem deal to work? Do I need more drivers?
